UPRR crossings to close for maintenance

Union Pacific Railroad will close a few railroad crossings for maintenance in and around Hastings beginning Friday, March 29.

The first crossing to close will be East Prairie Lake Road at Technical Boulevard.

The second closing will be on North Baltimore Avenue north of 18th Street. This closing is anticipated to be Saturday or Sunday.

The third closing will be on East 12th Street between Showboat Boulevard and Blaine Avenue.

Each closure is scheduled to begin at 6:30 a.m. and be in effect for 24 hours.
